Nalgonda: District SP AV Ranganath stated that promotions will increase responsibility and advised the staff who got promotions from Head Constables to ASI to bring name and fame to the department by rendering committed services.

The SP congratulated Miryalguda one town Head Constable S Krishna, Nalgonda traffic police head constable K Narsi Reddy and Nalgonda two town Head Constable SK Mahamood for getting promoted to ASI rank. The newly promoted officers called on the SP at his camp office in Nalgonda on Friday.

The SP said it is quite common for public servants to get promotions during their service and added that getting recognition from people is a great achievement.

As a police, one must be ready at any time to render valuable services at crucial moments and in maintaining law and order to ensure safety and security of citizens.

He advised them to maintain cordial relations with higher officials and people to work effectively. District police officials welfare association leaders Ramachander Goud, Somaiah, Jaya Raj and others also participated.

Meanwhile, in a separate press statement, SP AV Ranganath warned to take stringent action against the organisers and participants of betting and gambling. He also warned to take stern action against money lenders who lend loans to the people at higher interest. He urged the people to inform about betting, gambling and high interest taking money lenders in order for the police to take action against them.
