Telangana: 10 labourers die in mudslide at Narayanpet

At least 10 NREGA labourers died and a few others injured in a mudslide at Marikal mandal in Narayanpet on Wednesday while they were digging a trench. The trench is learned to have collapsed on the labourers when working.

The death toll is expected to rise as some of the labourers were buried under the mud which collapsed over them. According to the officials, a few labourers are reported to have trapped under the mud.

The officials launched rescue operations at the spot to save the labourers.
