Santosh of the 16th Battalion of Bihar has been serving at the India China border for one and a half year and transferred to Hyderabad three months ago. However, he had to stay there due to lockdown. He is survived with his wife, a daughter, and a son.

It is well known that there has been a confrontation between Indian and China soldiers in the Ladakh region over the past few weeks. Even though the top military officials of the two sides have discussed the issue, the tension has not subsided.

Moreover, on Monday night, soldiers from both countries attacked each other with stones, which erupted tension. In the fight, India has lost one army officer and two other jawans and three Chinese soldiers have also lost their lives. The Indian Army alleges that Chinese soldiers were the first to provoke Indian soldiers.
