A 53-year-old man was thrashed to death by his son for property late on Saturday night in Mahabubabad.
According to the police, the victim Mangya has four acres of land out of which two acres was given to his son Bhukya. However, later the accused demanded his father to transfer the other two acres on Bhukya's name.
On Saturday night, the duo had a heated argument following Bhukya thrashed his father who succumbed to injuries.
CI Venkata Ratnam, SI Satish inspected the spot and registered a case against Bhukya. The accused was taken into custody.
