A youngster drowned after the bike he was riding fell into the NSP canal at Rayanipalem of Miryalaguda on Sunday. He was identified as Yara Rakesh
A youngster drowned after the bike he was riding fell into the NSP canal at Rayanipalem of Miryalaguda on Sunday. He was identified as Yara Rakesh (22).
Yara Rakesh was a student of private degree college at Miryalaguda. He was working in a clothing store to support his family as the colleges were shut due to the pandemic. The police said that the victim took a ride on a new Pulsar bike bought by one of his friends. He drove at a high speed and lost control before falling into the NSP canal in Rayanipalem.
Rakesh failed to rescue himself as he did not know swimming and lost his life.
On a receipt of information, the police reached the spot and launched a search in the canal for the youth. Later, the body was fished out and shifted to an area hospital at Miryalaguda for autopsy. A probe is on.
