Unidentified persons broke into a mosque at Azampura under Chaderghat Police Station limits on Wednesday early morning hours and decamped with valuables from mosque.
According to police, the thieves broke the lock of the main door of mosque and ransacked the valuables and absconded from the spot. On receipt of information police rushed to the spot and collected clues.
By registering a case, the police are verifying CCTV footage to identify and nab the offenders. Meanwhile AIMIM and MBT leaders visited the mosque and demanded police to nab the offenders soon.
