Kothagudem: Local legislator Vanama Venkateswara Rao has appealed to agencies supplying midday meals and the workers to ensure quality of the food supplied to children.
He visited government schools at Pavloncha on Wednesday and reviewed the process of preparing midday meals offered to the schoolchildren. He interacted with the students and enquired about the quality of the food served to them.
The MLA wanted that the students be served eggs regularly to ensure good health. He later added that the State government was striving to offer quality education and quality midday meals to all students, and the same spirit should be shown by the workers too. The MLA, on the occasion, dined with the students.
