Wanaparthy: Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy on Monday handed over a cheque for Rs 57,000 to an ailing patient from Patapally village of Pebbair mandal in Wanaparthy.

Speaking on the occasion, Singireddy said that the TRS government was giving the highest priority to the healthcare of people and never before had any government given financial assistance to poor ailing patients under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) so liberally, he said.

"It is only under Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's leadership that the government had decided to give healthcare assistance to the poor ailing patients in the State, he said.

After receiving the cheque for Rs 57,000, the ailing patient, Sudhakar Reddy, thanked the Agriculture Minister for the help.

The Agriculture Minister also gave a call to others to utilise the CMRF scheme and get assistance from the government for their healthcare needs.

"The CMRF is always there to help poor in the need of emergency. I hope many more will utilise this opportunity, for which we are always ready to help them," said the Minister.
