Wanaparthy: Stop wasting your time for government jobs, ZP Chief advises youth

Wanaparthy: Stressing that the unemployed youth must not waste their time on government jobs, Loknath Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chairman of Wanaparthy district, while inaugurating the mega job mela in Wanaparthy on Friday, advised them to grab whatever opportunity they get and take up jobs irrespective of private or government and settle down early so that in the long run they can achieve bigger goals in their careers.

The mega job mela was organised by the Telangana State Skill Development Organisation in collaboration with Employment Generation Marketing Mission and the District Rural Development Organisation. Earlier, the ZP Chairman lighted a lamp and inaugurated the mega job mela at Boys Junior College Grounds in Wanaparthy. Speaking on the occasion, the ZP Chairman said, "The youth must not lose their confidence and should always be proactive and optimistic and must work hard to achieve their dream jobs. Many students of this generation in rural areas prefer government jobs. However, one should not waste their time on government jobs and must grab whatever opportunity the come across and should begin their life at the earliest so that as they go on and achieve greater heights in their life."

The ZP chairman advised the students to bring out the hidden talents and show their skills and there are many companies which come forward to pay handsome package for them.

During the mega job mela, as many as 35 companies participated and offered as many as 3,200 jobs under various categories to the youth during the job mela. District Collector Swetha Mohanty also said that the youth should improve their subject knowledge and skills and should choose only their area of interest to achieve success. "The students should set a goal and accordingly, improve their subject knowledge and skills to get good jobs," said the Collector.
