G5 mobile application services are made available for the commuters of Hyderabad metro rail.
Hyderabad: G5 mobile application services are made available for the commuters of Hyderabad metro rail. By using this facility, the videos can be watched without mobile data.
Hyderabad Metro MD NVS Reddy inaugurated Sugarbox free wifi network in metro rail. Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that initially, these services would be available in 10 metro stations, and shortly extended to other stations.
He also noted that by using this mobile app, movies could be downloaded in three minutes. He further added that all required facilities are made available in the metro stations.
Metro MD also confirmed that by the end of January JBS and MGBS route works will be completed. During the TSRTC strike, 70,000 passengers have increased in metro rails, and so far, nearly 14 lakh smart cards have been sold.
Sugarbox CEO Rohit said that G5 services would be available free of cost for 60 days and premium charges will be collected after that. He noted that gaming, food, e-commerce, e-learning, and other services would also be made available soon.
