Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association (APTTA) annual general body meeting (AGM) unanimously passed a resolution for conducting 11 Even Sports National Table Tennis Championship for schools at Vijayawada. The AGM also decided to host first ranking tournament in the month of June at Vijayawada.

Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association (APTTA) annual general body meeting (AGM) unanimously passed a resolution for conducting 11 Even Sports National Table Tennis Championship for schools at Vijayawada. The AGM also decided to host first ranking tournament in the month of June at Vijayawada.

APTTA annual general body meeting was held at a private hotel in Vijayawada on Sunday Association state president V Bhaskar Ram presided the meeting and later he released tournaments schedules to media. The APTTA president Bhaskar Ram said that Table Tennis state championship would be held at Ananthapuram in the month of September. Moreover he said that Table Tennis Ranking tournaments will be held at Vijayawada, Rajamahendravaram, Guntur and Bhimavaram.

Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) has been allotted 11 Even Sports TT Nationals for interstate and inter schools to Vijayawada, he added. The AGM also decided to give financial assistance Rs.75, 000 to talented players Sailu Noor Bhasha, Kazole and Naga Sravni each, he explained. APTTA secretary SM Sulthan, senior vice-president P Viswanadh, Krishna district president G Prakash, secretary K Balaram, state veteran association president Dr Ravi and others participated.
