A young man commits suicide in Krishna district
A police case has registered over the suicide of a young man in Kanchakoduru village in Pedana mandal of Krishna district on Wednesday.
Pedana: A police case has registered over the suicide of a young man in Kanchakoduru village in Pedana mandal of Krishna district on Wednesday.
According to the police, the deceased identified as Gopichand, an ITI student who is working as an apprentice in Machilipatnam Bell Company for the past two months.
He has committed suicide by hanging himself at his home on Tuesday. The locals noticed Gopichand hanging rushed to save him, but Gopi died by the time they brought him down.
Recently, Gapichand has got appointed as Grama Volunteer with this he has left his apprenticeship with the Bell Company.
In the complaint, Gopichand's father Srinivasa Rao said to the police that his son has told him about a dispute with three friends over a cell phone.
Srinivasa Rao alleges that those three people came to the house on Tuesday and beaten up Gopi and threatened him. He said his son had committed suicide with the fear of threat. Over this, the Gudur police have registered a case and investigating.
