138.92 cr budget for Annavaram temple gets clearance
The Endowments department has given its nod to the budget proposals of Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy temple-Annavaram for Rs 138.92 crore for the financial year 2019--2020.
Rajamahendravaram: The Endowments department has given its nod to the budget proposals of Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy temple-Annavaram for Rs 138.92 crore for the financial year 2019--2020.
As the tenure of trust board expired recently, the temple management submitted the budget proposals to the department for its approval. According to temple officials, out of the total amount, Rs 33.47 crore allotted to salaries of regular, contract and outsourcing employees, Rs 20.82 crore for making prasadams, Rs 70 lakh for conducting various festivals, Rs 2.60 crore for prasadam packers and Naayi Brahmins, Rs 4.40 crore for sanitation, Rs 3.28 crore for the maintenance of adopted temples, Rs 15.33 crore for GPF, audit and other payments, Rs 3.20 crore for security purpose, Rs 12 crore for various construction works, Rs 1 crore for water and electricity charges and Rs 10 crore to deposit in various banks.
