320 navy men donate blood in Visakhapatnam

A blood donation camp was organised by the Eastern Naval Command onboard INS Shakti as part of the Navy Week Celebrations here on Saturday.
Visakhapatnam: A blood donation camp was organised by the Eastern Naval Command onboard INS Shakti as part of the Navy Week Celebrations here on Saturday. Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet Rear Admiral Suraj Berry inaugurated the camp held in association with INHS Kalyani and NTR Trust Blood Bank.
The camp witnessed good participation from the naval personnel who volunteered for the cause. Defence civilians and their families donated blood. The collected blood was handed over to NTR Trust Blood Bank which will be utilised for treating dengue patients and road accident victims. About 320 personnel from various wings, including their family members contributed to the cause.
