With JSW, Priya and Jaya Jyothi cement companies continuing their works in Andhra Pradesh, yet a couple of factories are likely to be established.
On the other hand, the Ranco Cement Company establishment works are going on with a cost of Rs.1500 crore, which would emphasise on the creation of job opportunities directly and indirectly.
Officials say the work is expected to be completed by March and April 2020. However, preparations are underway to set up two other cement companies in the region.
UltraTech and Prism companies have started preparations to invest around Rs 2,000 crore. About 3 thousand people will get employment through Prism. If these three cement companies start producing in the district, they will create thousands of jobs and employment opportunities.
"Representatives of UltraTech and Prism recently met CM. The Ranco Cement Industry will open up employment. Many MSMEs will be revived in the district through the YSR Navodaya Scheme.
Entrepreneurs can apply for the establishment of industries in a single desk system and obtain permits." G Somasekhar Reddy, DIC GM said in a statement.
