A major mishap averted when a bus turtles in Prakasam district
Nearly 30 passengers were saved in a major road accident that was averted on Tuesday morning.

According to the locals, a GVR Travels bus with registration number AR01T 2345 is on its way from Bengaluru to Guntur with 30 passengers on board.
The bus tried to overtake a car with registration number AP27CC1366, which is going to Guntur from Ongole but hit at Doddavarappadu, near Maddipadu on NH 16.
As the bus driver tried to control the bus immediately after collision, the vehicle went down the road into the fields. The people travelling in the car received minor injuries while the passengers in the bus are announced unhurt after they came out from the bus through the emergency doors.
The Maddipadu SI Shaik Khadar Basha and local officials made arrangement for the passengers to continue journey to Guntur, after receiving formal complaint.
