Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) vice-chancellor Prof Mokka Jagannadha Rao has directed the university engineers to address the problems in the hostels within one week after receiving problems from the students.
Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) vice-chancellor Prof Mokka Jagannadha Rao has directed the university engineers to address the problems in the hostels within one week after receiving problems from the students. He advised them to take proper steps so that the students would not be inconvenienced and they should be provided with all the amenities. Otherwise, they cannot concentrate on their studies, he added.
He inspected men and women's hostels in the campus here on Thursday and enquired from the inmates about the facilities and food quality and asked them to list out their grievances on a piece of paper. The Vice-Chancellor also advised them to bring to his notice, if their problems were not addressed within a time span of one week.
He advised the students to maintain cleanliness in the hostels and also asked them to maintain the hostels properly without damaging the furniture or any important items. The academic atmosphere on the campus should not be disturbed, he added.
