Visakhapatnam: Advocates from North Coastal Andhra Pradesh boycotted courts and demanded high court to be set up in Visakhapatnam, on Tuesday .The advocates assembled at the District Court and raised slogans, demanding the government to set up high court in the district.
President of Bar Association and Chairman of Joint Action Committee G Maheshwar Reddy, President Forum of legal professionals Kuppili Muralidhar and lady advocates participated in the strike. Later the advocates met Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Botcha Satyanarayana and submitted a memorandum listing their demand.
