Amrutha Hastam distributes buttermilk
To beat the heat in the hot summer buttermilk, Fruit punch, Oats, Ragi malt and mineral water was distributed by Amrutha Hastam charitable trust at Railway station here on Saturday.
Vijayawada: To beat the heat in the hot summer buttermilk, Fruit punch, Oats, Ragi malt and mineral water was distributed by Amrutha Hastam charitable trust at Railway station here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Consumer Forum Court Chairman R Madhava Rao said the distribution of buttermilk, drinking water and many more to people in the hot summer was a laudable service and appreciated the outfit members for taking up the activity.
He also said that people should take up such social service activities to leave a mark in the minds of the common people. He suggested the Amrutha Hastam organiser Dara Karunasree to continue her good work ever.
Speaking on this, the organiser Dara Karunasree said "Considering the amount of the blazing heat, we have taken this decision to provide free buttermilk, Cool mineral water, Fruit Punch and many more for the passengers. I am really happy as we served 2000 to 3000 members, and we will continue these types of programmes throughout the summer." Railway DRM, railway officials, NGO members and others were present.
