Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh are currently on the decline in the state. On an average, between 500 and 600 cases are appeared every day along with two or three deaths. However, experts warn that even if the epidemic gradually subsides, there is a chance of a resurgence. At one stage, 10 thousand cases were registered per day. After that, they gradually decreased. A report by the Department of Medical Health predicts a second wave of coronavirus in the state. However, given the current situation in states like Delhi and Kerala, there are indications of a second pandemic in Andhra Pradesh.
The corona intensity is also likely to increase as the temperatures fall. It is indicated that there was no risk of an increase in coronavirus cases after January 15 and that vigilance was needed to deal with the second stage. Considering the coronavirus conditions in many countries and states, the second wave came after a five-month hiatus from the phase of corona peak. Experts estimate that the same is currently happening in the national capital, Delhi. The intensity was high between August and September and then gradually decreased. The report warns that the second phase is likely to take place five months later, between January 15 and March 15, 2021.
Experts have assessed the situation in the US, Europe, Australia, Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Kerala. The report stated that it was a good idea to be prepared for second-wave situations from now on, adding that schools in many countries and states were closed during the second wave.
The government has appointed a seven-member expert committee on Coronavirus second phase estimates. Of these, four are from government hospitals and three are from private hospitals. These include community medicine, general medicine, social preventive medicine, neurophysiology, government specialists, and cardiology, nephrology, and pulmonary medicine specialists from the private sector. The seven-member panel reported on corona second wave opportunities and precautions to be taken against them.
