Energy Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy inaugurates District Livelihood Resources Centre in Ongole

Ongole: Minister for Energy, Forests, Environment, science, and technology Balineni Srinivasa Reddy inaugurated the District Livelihood Resources Centre constructed at a cost of Rs 1.57 crore on the DWMA office premises in Ongole on Friday. Addressing on the occasion, the Minister said that the State government is working to develop the livelihood resources for the public.

Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara said that the government is going to conduct various development activities in the rural areas as part of the employment guarantee scheme. He said that they are providing livelihood to the rural people and at the same time increasing infrastructure by constructing buildings for the government. He added that they are developing 879 secretariats, Rythu Bharosa Centers, Village Health Clinics, bulk milk units, and developing schools under Nadu- Nedu. He said that they are also constructing multipurpose facility centers for the dairy farmers at the Rythu Bharosa centers. He informed that the milk products by Amul will increase and the farmers would get more revenue. He said that Janatha Bazaars will be arranged to help farmers sell their produce, and customers get them at a relatively at low price.

The Minister said that the farmers would get more profits with the Farmers Producers Councils. He added that the DLRC would help the rural people to get training for their social and economic development.

Joint Collector TS Chetan, DWMA PD Seenareddy, DPO Naraynareddy, OMC municipal engineer T Sundararami Reddy and others also participated in the programme.
