Guntur: Advises and Consultation Centre, which will furnish information for admissions into various universities in the USA, will be set up on Acharya Nagarjuna University premises for the convenience of AP students to join in the US Universities soon, according to Regional Public Engagement Specialist at US Department of State Sarah J Ziebell and American Culture Affairs Assistant (Public Affairs) US Consulate General Hyderabad office, Dr Jio Christopher.

They met ANU International Students Cell Director Prof GVSR Anjaneyulu, Director for Admissions, Dr Rami Reddy in the university on Friday and held discussions over facilities in the International students hostel and ANU Engineering College premises.

She asked 2,000 square feet structure in the ANU premises to conduct skills development classes in English. The ANU officials informed that they will inform higher officials and take further decision.

American Culture Affairs Assistant Jio Christopher said that more Indians were coming to the USA and some of the students are failing to get visa also. He said, this centre would guide to overcome the problem and stressed on need to improve English language skills. ANU International Student Cell Director Prof GVSR Anjaneyulu explained details of MoUs entered with foreign universities and some research centres.

He said they will provide facilities to foreign students, foreign professors subject to decisions to be taken by the ANU Executive Council. Later, they felicitated Sarah Jibell and Christopher.
