The Election Commission has made all the arrangements for the judgment day of 2019 general elections counting across the state on Thursday (23 May).

Amaravati: The Election Commission has made all the arrangements for the judgment day of 2019 general elections counting across the state on Thursday (23 May).

The counting process will be starting at 8 am with the count of postal ballot and service votes. The counting trends will be known by 11 am.

For three Lok Sabha seats, 34 candidates are in the race, and for 15 Assembly segments, 176 candidates have contested in the elections.

Total voters population in Visakhapatnam constituency are 35,78,458, in which the polled votes are 25,70,119. Men voters 12,70,214, Women voters 12, 99, 889. The total voting percentage is 74.82%.

Total EVMs 4,098, counting rooms 33, counting staff 1386, alternative staff 1500, election observers 18, Police force 1272, district police: 350, Central Forces: 3 Companies, State Forces: 2 Companies, Counting agents 1327, computer operators 250, 14 tables arranged for each segment.
