Details of the vaccine were revealed. 'From December 25, a massive program to give corona vaccines to one crore people across the state will begin. Vaccination will be carried out in 4762 health centres as per the directions of CM Jagan. The state has succeeded in controlling the spread of the virus by conducting over a million tests, "Vijayasai Reddy tweeted. However, the tweet seems to be disappeared from the said Reddy's Twitter account.

The Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up for the distribution of the coronavirus vaccine at the behest of the Center. The Jagan government has set up a state-level steering committee to plan for the distribution of the corona vaccine. The state government has issued orders setting up a steering committee with a total of 18 members.

The committee is chaired by Chief Secretary to the State Government Nilam Sawhney convened by the Chief Secretary to the Ministry of Health and has special general secretaries and chief secretaries of various departments as members. Chief Minister Nilam Sawhney said in the directives that the committee should meet at least once a month.

In the latest health bulletin released by the government on Tuesday, 61,452 coronavirus tests were conducted in the last 24 hours where as many as 500 new cases were reported in the last twenty four hours. As per the bulletin, the total number of coronavirus cases to 8,76,336. Meanwhile, about 7,064 people have died of dreadful virus.
