Amaravati: AP State Level Police Recruitment Board has released the AP Police Constable final exam results for the recruitment of 2,723 constable posts. The results were released on Monday night and are available on the official website.

A total of 64,575 candidates have appeared for the written test. Of which, some 58,007 candidates have qualified, which include 53,509 men and 4498 women. The merit list will be prepared by assigning ranks based on highest marks, reservation and other factors.

With the final written test results, 21 candidates are competing for each post. The Recruitment Board's Chairman Kumar Vishwajeet said the OMR sheets for the examination would be made available on the official website soon.

A notification was issued for the recruitment of the police constable posts in last November, and a total of 3.94 lakh candidates have applied. Candidates, who were qualified in the preliminary written test and physical fitness test, are selected for the final written exam.

Kumar Vishwajeet said that the scanned OMR sheets could be downloaded from July 30 to August 1 till 5.00 pm. If candidates have any objections, they can request for the verification of their answer sheets by making a payment of Rs 1,000. The request for the same would have to be done online on the website, slprb.ap.gov.in. The applicants will be sent the details of the marks directly through SMS or mail.
