As many s 30 students suffered from viral fevers in IIIT at Idupulapaya
As many as 30 students pursuing studies in IIIT located at Idupulapaya of Vempalle mandal suffered from viral fevers and water-borne diseases for the last four days.
Kadapa: As many as 30 students pursuing studies in IIIT located at Idupulapaya of Vempalle mandal suffered from viral fevers and water-borne diseases for the last four days. It is reportedly known the college management permitted the sufferers to go their native places after their health condition get deteriorated following drastic comedown of platelets count.
According to the sources, every day about 400 students are going under treatment in the hospital located in the premises of IIIT. According to Dr. Hasan Ali working in the hospital admitted there was a serious problem student suffered from fevers. He said that students might have affected by Malaria And Typhoid fevers.
However, he said it will be difficult to trace out whether they are suffering from Dengu due to unavailability of Dengue test kits in the hospital. There are as many as 9,000 students were pursuing studies in Kadapa, Ongole IIIT's located on the same campus.
