YSRCP city coordinator RSP Rao, BC JAC chairman Margani Nageswara Rao and others participated in the programme. Earlier, he went to Dwaraka Tirumala and had darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy and came here in a rally passing through Gopalapuram, Kovvur, Nidadavolu Assembly constituencies. Cine comedian Ali and other leaders accompanied him.
Meanwhile, TDP sitting MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary filed nomination for Rajamahendravaram Rural constituency and from YSRCP Akula Virraju also filed nomination from the constituency. Heavy police bundobust was arranged at the offices of all returning officers.
