At last the CBI court has granted exemption from attending the court on every Friday to Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Cases filed against Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy are being investigated for allegedly having in disproportionate assets.

However, Jagan had already asked the CBI several times to grant him exemption from personal attendance in the case. To this extent the CBI has also granted exemption to YS Jagan. The CBI further said that there is no need to attend the special CBI court in Hyderabad for this case. YS Jagan has been facing trial for nearly eight years in the case filed by the CBI on charges of disproportionate assets He was in Hyderabad's Charlapalli Jail for 16 months. He was later released on bail. YS Jagan is currently on bail.

As part of the investigation into the case, YS Jagan appeared in court every Friday. Jagan has already asked the CBI court to exempt him from personal attendance. It is reported that the CM had met Central leaders in Delhi on the matter.
