CBSE Cluster-IV TT tourney draws to a close in Peddapuram
The CBSE Cluster–VII Table Tennis Tournament held at Sri Prakash Synergy School in Peddapuram were concluded on Friday.
Peddapuram: The CBSE Cluster–VII Table Tennis Tournament held at Sri Prakash Synergy School in Peddapuram were concluded on Friday. The semi-finals and finals in each of the Under-14, Under -17, Under-19 (Boys & Girls) categories were played out on the second and final day to decide the winners among the 200 players from 30 schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana State.
Deputy Superintendent of Police A Srinivasa Rao,, (Peddapuram), who was the chief guest on the occasion, expressed his happiness over the conduct of the tournament on a grand scale.
He congratulating the winners of the tournament under different categories and exhorted the players to give equal importance to sports to mould themselves into all-rounders. School's Director Ch.Vijay Prakash complimented the participants for their focused sporting spirit and thanked the officials, observers and coaches for having ensured free and fair conduct of the tournament.
CBSE observer Magesh Kumar was appreciative of the school's ultramodern infrastructure that offered the players a highly comfortable and competitive ambience. Prizes were distributed to the winners in the presence of the parents, coaches and managers.
K Mohan Babu, Secretary, EGTTA, B Prasanth, Vice- President, Tranzed Global, D Suseela, Principal, Akshara School, Kakinada, Senior Principal MVVS Murthy, Lt.Cdr. K Srinivas Rao, COO, Sri Prakash Synergy School, coordinators, coaches, parents, teachers and students were present on the occassion.
