Addressing media persons here on Sunday, he said that cordon and search has been organised at various places of ID (illicitly distilled) manufacturing units in the district. The enforcement personnel and police of Panjani have organised cordon and search operation and nabbed the culprits on the spot. The police have destroyed 4,000 litres of ID liquor and 450 packets of arrack besides black jaggery wash, he said.
He said the government has been striving to curb illegal transport of sand from various sand reaches. It may be recalled here that Rishant Reddy has taken over the charge as ASP, Special Enforcement Bureau on Saturday.
