Chittoor: Resurvey of lands will end disputes permanently says Deputy CM K Narayanaswamy

Chittoor: Deputy Chief Minister K Narayanaswamy stated that the resurvey of all private and public lands including agricultural lands and urban properties after one hundred years, will help the government to permanently resolve the land disputes.
In a bid to protect the interest of farmers in particular for resolving their disputes and make easier for land registration, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy launched 'YSR Bhu Survey – Bhu Raksha Scheme,' an unique programme in the state for which the cooperation of the public would be more crucial for the success of the scheme, he added.
Launching the resurvey of land scheme at Muttukurupalli village, Gudipala mandal on Tuesday, he recalled that land survey was made in the state some 100 years ago without any practicality in dealing with the disputes or litigations. Due to enforcing of the new Resurvey of Land scheme, there would be no land disputes in future in any form, he reiterated.
After observing land sharks and middlemen in land disputes during his prajasankalpa yatra, Jagan Mohan Reddy decided to conduct resurvey of all lands, he said. MLA A Srinivasulu said that the Chief Minister has made the administration to reach to the doorsteps of people through Sachivalayams by recruiting 1.5 lakh ward secretaries and 2.5 lakh volunteers.
District Collector Dr N B Gupta briefed the salient features of resurvey of land scheme. CHUDA Chairman P Purushottam Reddy, ZP CEO Prabhakar Reddy, RDO Dr Renuka and others were present. The Deputy Chief Minister then interacted with drone teams and data processing teams.
