An NRI housewife Premalatha,28, committed suicide in the USA on Tuesday where she was living with her husband Sudhakar Naidu, a software engineer
Chittoor: An NRI housewife Premalatha,28, committed suicide in the USA on Tuesday where she was living with her husband Sudhakar Naidu, a software engineer.
Premalatha father Thyagaraju Naidu said his son-in-law Sudhakar on Friday informed that his daughter committed suicide. Premalatha hailing from Bandarlapalli, Puthalapattu mandal near Chittoor, married to Sudhakar Naidu of Pullaiagaripalli near Chandragiri in 2016 and left to the USA along with her husband in 2017. The couple have a two-year-old child and 3-year-old boy. Premalatha parents suspect some foul play behind their daughter's death.
They said that they wanted the body of Premalatha to be brought to India for last rites in the native village and alleged that Sudhakar was reluctant to allow the body being brought to India.
The grief-stricken parents appealed the authorities to help them get the body from the US to have a last glimpse of their beloved daughter. Meanwhile the victim's parents have lodged a complaint with district collector on Friday requesting him to take due steps for shifting the body to Chittoor.
