Civic chief inspects sanitation works in Kakinada

Kakinada: Kakinada Municipal Corporation (KMC) Commissioner Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar inspected sanitation works in Peda Market area here on Friday. He directed the officials to solve the problems immediately. Later, the Commissioner inspected the sanitation works in 10th and 11th wards.

He warned that violators of the municipal rules will dealt with sternly. He appealed to the public to use only the places fixed by the municipal corporation for dumping of waste and not to throw on street corners and other public places.

Similarly, in order to provide better sanitation to the public, the public should ensure that all areas should be kept clean. He said the government is taking precautionary measures to curb Covid-19. He wanted people to wear mask, use sanitizer, make sure that the social distance be followed for the wellbeing of the community.

Additional Commissioner CH Naga Narasimha Rao and others were present.
