Kakinada: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will distribute the house sites to the beneficiaries in the district on the occasion of Christmas on December 25. District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy instructed the officials to complete the layout works of house sites in view of the distribution of house sites by the Chief Minister.

He convened a review meeting on 'Pedalandariki Illu' with district officials via Zoom App from Collectorate here on Monday. He instructed the officials to complete the mapping for 1,48,526 beneficiaries in the first phase.

He also wanted the mapping to be completed in view of distributing the house sites along with the foundation stone ceremony for houses. He said that the mapping and geo-tagging process should be completed on a war footing for the 1,48,526 beneficiaries in the early stages.

He said that the mapping and geo-tagging process has been expedited with the participation of volunteers, engineering assistants, digital assistants, housing AEs, etc. He said progress would be reviewed on a daily basis from Tuesday. He said that the information of the beneficiaries required for the mapping was available in the secretariats in a very accurate form and that information should also be utilized. He instructed the officials to clear the pending works related to the land marking.

He said that officials should visit and find out the real situation and make plans for the completion of the work. Collector said that the implementation of these schemes would be possible only when there is coordination among the authorities.

Joint Collectors Dr G Lakshmaiah, G Raja Kumari, Keerthi Chekuri and others were present.
