Coronavirus update: AP registers 620 new positive cases taking tally to 8,67,683
The coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh has seen a huge fall on Sunday.
The coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh has seen a huge fall on Sunday. According to health, bulletin released a short while ago, about 54,710 samples were tested in the last 24 hours where 620 new positive cases were reported taking the total number of cases across the state to 8,67,683 and seven people have died in the past 24 hours, which brings the total death toll to 6988.
The health bulletin reported that the recovery rate also been increased with as many as 3787 people had recovered in the past 24 hours, which brings the total number of recovered cases to 8,52,298 while 8,397 are being treated at the various coronavirus hospitals. Meanwhile, East Godavari district has the highest number of 1,22,246 positive cases in the state, followed by West Godavari district with 92,368 cases while Chittoor district has 83,643 cases.
The state has conducted 1,00,17,126 tests overall, which is a massive number. As far as deaths, two people died in the Krishna district and Visakapatnam and one each in Chittoor, Guntur and West Godavari. The district wise date can be accessed in the below mentioned tweet.
