Adikavi Nannaya University Inter-Collegiate Basketball (Women) meeting cum team selection trials for the year 2019 -20 was organised by Ch SD St Theresa’s College for Women here on December 6 and 7.
Eluru: Adikavi Nannaya University Inter-Collegiate Basketball (Women) meeting cum team selection trials for the year 2019 -20 was organised by Ch SD St Theresa's College for Women here on December 6 and 7.
As many as 102 players from 12 affiliated colleges participated in the tournament cum selection trials. Ch SD St Theresa's College for Women, ASD Govt Degree College, Kakinada, SKSD Mahila Kalasala, Tanuku, SVKP & KS RAJU Arts & Science College, Penugonda played league matches.
Ch SD St Theresa's College for Women team emerged as winners. ASD Govt Degree College, Kakinada team won second place and SVKP & KS Raju Arts and Science College, Penugonda won the third place.
A team of 12 players from various colleges are provisionally selected to represent Adikavai Nannaya University at South Zone Inter University Basketball (W) tournament to be held at University of Madras, Chennai from December 15 to 19.
