Guntur: Andhra Bank Deputy General Manager M Srinivas said that the bank will sanction loans for starting new business ventures
He addressed a meeting held with the members of farmers produce organizations here Tuesday.
He said that there was lot of potential for dairy development in Guntur district. He urged the entrepreneurs to start dairy activity in Guntur district to overcome milk scarcity.
National Agriculture Bank for Rural Development (NABARD) district development manager KRD Karthik urged the farmers produce organization representatives to increase their membership. He urged them to start selling fertilizers, pesticides, seeds immediately. He suggested to make use of Kisan Credit Card. He further said that if the farmers will set up joint liability groups they will get loans from the banks.
Lead Bank Manager P Venkateshwara Rao, ZBNF officer Raja Kumari, animal husbandry officer Phanindra were among those present.
