Bhimavaram: Engineering colleges should mould every student as an expert in their respective fields by teaching them especially on soft and hard skills said Dr B R Ambedkar University Vice chancellor Prof K Ramji. He attended as the chief guest for the Board of Studies review meeting at Bhimavaram SRKR College here on Sunday.

On this occasion, he said that India is the country ranking top in the list of youth majority in the population. He suggested the Engineering colleges concentrate on the moulding every engineer into an expert for the development of the country.

He expressed his dissatisfaction on some of the colleges which only forces students by simply making them read the academic subjects rather than explaining the subject. Any nation can be developed with sufficient manpower and government schemes for attracting the industries.

He stressed that the academics should not be burden for the students and they have to do experiments for the innovative inventions from college level. He gave some suggestions for the college management to create a healthy environment for the students for increasing their skills.
