Ensure corruption-free governance, Education Minister tells officials
Education Minister and also in-charge Minister for Kadapa district A Suresh appealed to the officials to ensure corruption free and transparent governance.
Kadapa: Education Minister and also in-charge Minister for Kadapa district A Suresh appealed to the officials to ensure corruption free and transparent governance. He directed the officials to strive to achieve the goals as per the aspirations of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He, along with others, addressed District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting here on Thursday. He said that government is planning to implement various developmental and welfare schemes. With regard to Education department, Nadu-Nedu, Ammavodi schemes will be implemented on 14th November and 26th January respectively in the state, he said.
Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha emphasised on the need for cooperation between people's representatives and officials for the implementation of the schemes. Government chief Whip G Srikanth Reddy and government Whip K Srinivasulu have stressed that officials have to act with responsibility to take the schemes to the genuine beneficiaries.
The in charge minister reviewed the progress of implementation of on going schemes. District Collector Ch Harikiran has explained that there was 449.9 mm rainfall was recorded against 486.7MM up to 22nd October 2019 during the current kharif season.
He said that district administration has sent detailed report to the government proposing Kadapa district as drought hit. Irrigation SE Madhu Sudhana Reddy has detailed that following the directions of chief minister administration is ensuring steps for storing 26tmcft of water in the Galeru Nagari Sujala Sravanthi (GNSS) by 2020 as already compensation was paid to the displaced.
Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, MLC K Narasimha Reddy, C Sivanath Reddy, MLAs P Ravindranath Reddy, S.Raghurami Reddy, R Sivaprasad Reddy, N Sudheer Reddy, G Venkata Subbaiah and others were present.
