Ongole: Prakasam District Collector Dr Pola Bhaskara ordered the district officials to conduct the prestigious exams for recruitment of staff at village and ward secretariats scheduled from September 1 to 8, fool proof. He organised a workshop for the district level officers at district command and control room in the collectorate on Sunday and made necessary directions.

The Collector said that the government is prestigiously organizing the exams to recruit about 1.50 lakh staff all over the state and a large number of applicants are appearing for the exam to try their chances.

He said that the center superintendents, center special officers, hall superintendents, route officers, invigilators, and other involved district officers are responsible for the smooth and foolproof conduct of exams.

He announced that criminal cases will be booked on the concerned officers if any malpractice is observed in the exam. He ordered them to shift to the exam material to police stations by August 30 in case the centers are in remote places and then distribute them according to the centers working as a team with the police department.

He ordered them to arrange a cloakroom for the deposit of mobile phones and study material of the candidates for appearing the exam. He ordered to shut down any photocopy centers around the exam centers and impose 144 section around it.

The collector asked the district staff to organize awareness program at mandal level to the center wise officers on August 27 and 28 and utilize Anganwadi workers and VROs in making arrangements for the exam.

The joint collector S Shan Mohan, DRO V Venkata Subbaiah, DEO VS Subba Rao, deputy CEO Sai Kumari, MPDOs, MEOs, and other staff also participated in the program.
