EO presents Srivari Sare to Gangamma

TD Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal, following the age-old practice, presented a set of new clothes (Sare) to Gangamma, the folk goddess of Tataiahgunta in the temple city on Saturday.
Tirupati: TTD Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal, following the age-old practice, presented a set of new clothes (Sare) to Gangamma, the folk goddess of Tataiahgunta in the temple city on Saturday. It is believed that Gangamma is the beloved sister of Tirumala Lord Venkateswara, who sends Sare to His sister on the auspicious occasion of Jatara of the goddess to adorn the Vasthram.
Special pooja was rendered to the Sare in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple and the EO handed over the traditional sare to AP Endowments Regional Commissioner Bhramaramba and Gangamma temple Executive Officer Kasturi. Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple Special Grade Deputy EO Varalakshmi was also present.
