Former MP JC Diwakar Reddy arrested for Protesting over land disputes in Anantapur
The police had arrested former TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy and were taken into custody by the police on Wednesday when he was on his way to Venkatapuram.
The police had arrested former TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy and were taken into custody by the police on Wednesday when he was on his way to Venkatapuram. Diwakar Reddy had come into an argument with the police as to why he was being arrested. Along with JC, Yamini Bala and BT Naidu were arrested and left behind at their homes half an hour later.
For some days, the YSR Congress Party and TDP activists have clashed over land disputes. However, TDP leaders conspired to occupy his place. In this backdrop, JC Diwakar Reddy made an effort to reach Venkatapuram village to support the TDP leaders. Also, there is a road in the private space, the TDP leaders have argued with police.
However, Police and Revenue officials confirmed that the boulders were located in Venkatrami Reddy's home. On the other hand, Shinganamala MLA Jonnalagadda Padmavati expressed her anger over TDP leaders. She alleged that TDP leaders are bringing caste wars in the district.
