Four-month-old baby recovers from Coronavirus in Visakhapatnam
Coronavirus in Visakhapatnam: As per the state health department, a four-month-old baby in Andhra Pradesh has recovered from COVID-19 after being on ventilator for 18 days in Visakhapatnam.
Coronavirus in Visakhapatnam: As per the state health department, a four-month-old baby in Andhra Pradesh has recovered from COVID-19 after being on ventilator for 18 days in Visakhapatnam. Going into details, a woman named Lakshmi belonging to West Godavari was tested positive for the Coronavirus and later her four month old baby also tested positive. The officials who were quick enough to find they are infected with Coronavirus has rushed the baby to Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences VIMS and treated for 18 days under ventilation.
However, the infant baby was completely recovered from the coronavirus and tested negative in the recent tests. Doctors discharged the baby and the mother from the hospital after completing all health check-up. Visakhapatnam collector Vinay Chand congratulated the VIMS doctors who rescued the baby and mother from the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the state has registered 186 new cases on Saturday taking the tally to 4588 with 42 new recoveries which amasses to 2641. While the death toll remains at 82 and the active cases stands at 1865.
