With regard to drinking water problem at Kalva Bugga village in Orvakal mandal, four villagers suffered severe injuries in an attack by the YSR Congress activists.
Kurnool: With regard to drinking water problem at Kalva Bugga village in Orvakal mandal, four villagers suffered severe injuries in an attack by the YSR Congress activists. According to information, the villagers of Kalavs Bugga were facing acute drinking water problem since four days. The village Panchyat has stopped supplying water due to motor starter went out of order. The issue was taken to the notice of Zillah Parishad officials but no action was taken. With this the villagers came to a decision to repair the motor starter so that water could be supplied.
The YSRC party leaders, Bhaskar his brother and some of their friends on learning about the complaint lodged with the higher authorities reached the house of the complainant and attacked with sticks and stones. Bhaskar in a fit of rage screaming on the complainant said, how dare you complain to the higher officials.
In the meantine some other villagers rushed to the complaint house where the YSRC leader are attacking tried to pacify the issue but it did not reap any satisfactory result, instead they are suffered injuries in their attack.
The injured were rushed to Kurnool Government General Hospital for treatment. The police were known to have take care of the situations. With the attack tense situations were prevailing in the village. Morwninfoemationnisnuet to know.
