Godavari Boat Accident: AP Officials Recover 20 More Bodies

After a bizzarous incident of a boat consisting of around 73 tourists and 8 crew drowned in the river Godavari at Papikondalu, the officials of Andhra Pradesh state are carrying out a search operation for tracing the dead bodies. Earlier, a team of NDRF, which could not fetch the desired results of recovering all the bodies where there are only 5 bodies found on Sunday. The government of Andhra Pradesh deployed two extra teams of NDRF in recovering the bodies.
As per the latest report from the State Disaster Management Authority officials, twenty more bodies were traced, which mounts to 28 while 18 bodies are yet to be traced.
Director-General of Police Gautam Sawang conducted an aerial survey at Kachhuluru on Tuesday afternoon and later visited the victims who are undergoing treatment in the government hospital at Rajamahendravaram.
