Golden Chariot for Kanipakam Vinayaka Swamy ordered

The state government has released money for making a Golden Chariot to the God Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka of Kanipakam in Chittoor district.
Amaravati: The state government has released money for making a Golden Chariot to the God Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka of Kanipakam in Chittoor district. Minister for Endowments V Srinivasa Rao sanctioned Rs 6 crore for this Chariot.
The Minister informed in a communique that if possible the Chariot would come by September 2. Government has been making efforts to bring it to use on the occasion of ensuing Vinayaka Chaviti. That would be used for parading the God in the streets of Kanipakam.
He said that the chariot is under making at Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam, Tirupati.
The temple is going to organize Vinayaka Swamy Brahmotsavams from September 2 to 22 in a grand manner. The Holy celebrations to continue a total of 21 days.
