Kadapa: MP YS Avinash Reddy has said that farmers need not worry over getting water for agriculture operations as government will take up all measures for supplying water to the crops in the current kharif season.
The MP released Krishna water from Gandikota reservoir to Chitravathi, Mylavaram, Paidipalem balancing reservoirs in Jammalamadugu, on Sunday. On the occasion, he said that there was no water scarcity in the current kharif season as it will be sufficiently available in the all reservoirs and tanks in the district.
He urged the farmers to follow norms while drawing water from the canals to protect crops at tail end areas. Jammalamadugu MLA P Sudheer Reddy and others were present
