Telugu Desam Party National president former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu criticised the Government Of Andhra Pradesh on Power Purchase Agreements. Naidu as popularly known has come up with the statistics of the power sector and said that it is the TDP government had initiated the regulatory system. The regulatory system works on deciding the price of the power for the private and public sector.

Babu said that his government stood as a role model or the country in 2014 with surplus power in the state. We made GENCO and TRANSCO as the number of power units in the country. We have given the quality power supply to the households and private sector as well. We decreased the tariff and made brought many changes in the Power sector. He said that we brought incentives from the centre.

He alleged that the YSR government bought the power for Rs 11 per unit from 2004 to 2009, which led our govt to increase the surcharges to decrease the burden to the state. The TDP chief has made wild allegations of YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy for Cancelling the PPAs. He came up hard on the claims made by YSRCP on the power agreements and demanded officials to produce the correct details before spewing venom.

"Jagan Mohan Reddy is taking the government to the losses with his inexperience in administration." Babu asserted. He Said, We will fight against the cancellation of PPA's and will go any further.
