GMC Commissioner Keerthi Chekuri assured that she will try to make the proposals for the beautification of Guntur city into action.
Guntur : GMC Commissioner Keerthi Chekuri assured that she will try to make the proposals for the beautification of Guntur city into action.
She addressed a meeting held at GMC office here on Tuesday with AP Urban Infrastructure Asset Management Ltd. She said the GMC will develop walking tracks and stadiums and beautify Guntur city. The focus will be on developing NTR Manasa Sarovaram Park on par with the international standards.
The Commissioner said they have started land acquisition for the construction of swimming pools in Guntur West constituency and added that they will develop walking tracks at Koretipadu and Chuttugunta. She said that they will set up a night bazar in the city for which land acquisition process is going on. She directed the officials to prepare a better plan for the development of BR Stadium in Guntur city.
