Guntur: CPI state secretary K Rama Krishna felt that the state government allotted more funds for welfare schemes. He appreciated it. He said that development is also needed and criticized that the government reduced allotments of funds to all sectors.

Addressing media at Mallaiahlingam Bhavan in Guntur city on Thursday, he said that the government reduced funds allotment to Agriculture and Irrigation sectors. He criticized that the government neglected development. He recalled that CRDA, decentralization of state capital and Bills sent to the select committee. He demanded that the government continue state capital in Amaravati. He warned that if the government did not respond, they will intensify their agitations. He said they will protest on June 20 at all district headquarters and mandal headquarters, to mount pressure on the government to reduce power tariff, petrol and diesel prices.

CPI state assistant secretary Muppalla Nageswara Rao demanded the that government do justice to the AgriGold customers and agents.
